As an educator, Dr. Anderson has served in primary, secondary, and university institutions (both public and private). She served on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin where she taught Business Law. In addition, she has served on the faculty of Huston-Tillotson College (teaching Business Law) and currently is an adjunct professor with Ashington University in the MBA program, teaching Strategic Marketing, Operations Management and Law & Corporate Management.

She received a full academic scholarship to the University of Texas School of Law where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD). After law school, Dr. Anderson received an MBA from Texas A&M University (Tarleton State University). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Capella University.
